The Five Goats Statue 五羊石像

　　The Five Goat Statue that is the symbol of both the mountain and the city stands on the stone stair of Yuexiu Mountain. Every year, many people come to see it.

　　The legend dates back to long long ago. Five gods together with their five goats came to save the people from the famine disaster. After doing that, they went back to heaven, but the five goats didn‘t go together with them. Instead, they joined together and turned to a big stone, in order to protect this land.

　　Owing to the legend, the statue has become the landmark of the city, showing the brilliance of Guangzhou. Next time you go to Guangzhou, you can see this statue at first. Maybe the five goats will bless you forever.
